In this class we’ll get familiar with what to expect in the hospital from the start of labor until you go home with your babe. We’ll discuss anatomy of pregnancy, when to call your provider, stages of labor, when to go to the hospital, comfort and relaxation techniques, medical procedures such as induction, augmentation, epidural and pain medications, an overview of cesarean section, what to expect in the immediate newborn period, and an overview of postpartum.

In this class we’ll go over newborn behaviors and traits, how to soothe a crying baby, feeding, diapering, bathing, and health & safety.

For the in-person class, there is an option to add on Infant CPR
Spinning Babies® Birth Preparation Class
Take beginning 16-20 weeks. This is a hands on class where we will learn about pregnancy anatomy and practice the different exercises that can address common pregnancy discomforts. We’ll also discuss and practice techniques to assist with labor progress & birth.

This Class is only offered in-person at this time, as we will be doing hands on demonstrations and you will get the opportunity to practice the techniques.
