We founded Special Delivery NY after years of experience as labor nurses in New York City. We’ve seen firsthand what a difference having foundational knowledge and realistic expectations can have on our patients’ overall birth experience. We believe in blending holistic practices into the hospital framework for a positive, empowering birth.

We decided to take our expertise from the bedside to the classroom and become certified childbirth educators. We want to give you the tools to enter your birth feeling prepared and to alleviate the anxiety that can interfere with a positive birth experience.
